13. Take me to the beach when the tide is out

My boyfriend took me to the beach today to cheer me seeing as I've been so down lately. The tide was out so we took the opportunity to take some piccies (only a few today), Jack doing his usual funny poses! hehe It was Jack's birthday yesterday and I bought him a fisheye camera so we were taking pictures all night and now we've lost the film after using it all up... Really not impressed :( I'm just praying that it turns up because the pictures were so funny! Don't you just hate it when you lose something when you haven't looked at it properly yet, or in this case not developed the film yet :'( Sad times. But on a better note, we are off to Dublin for four days on Tuesday - SO EXCITED!! We're staying in a four star spa hotel!! And I am so excited to visit all the vintage shops, yes I have done my research and I will be hitting them straight away ;) We're also planning to go to the Guiness factory, everyone has said really great things about it so we thought it would be silly not to go!

Anyone going anywhere nice soon or been anywhere recently? Or has anyone been to Dublin? Any tips or things I should know about? Hope you've all had a good day :)

12. I'm always wrong, but you're never right.

So I'm going for a new look on my Lookbook images today. Rounded edges and a photo of my clothes folded next to a full body image. Do you think this looks better? Need some tips! And I've gotten a grip since my last rant about Lookbook. I'm just happy posting my looks and getting inspiration from others. People's looks on there are amazingly stunning! I wish I could take photo's the way some people on there can, they come out looking great! Maybe I should experiment more. :)



Something to rant about.

Today's post is just a rant, not that anyone actually reads my blog anyway :/ lol So fed up recently..things at home aren't great, mum and dad are still have trouble with settleing the divorce and I feel like I'm just stuck in the middle. My brother never shows his emotions which is hard because I feel like I'm alone in this situation, eventhough I know I'm not. He's just hard to talk to about this matter because I know he's secretly hurting too.

Uni work is pretty much non existant so far. I'm off for the easter holidays for a month and I just can't seem to find the motivation to do anything. All I do is sit on here, look through lookbook and facebook and eat. It's quite depressing. I just need a little (or maybe quite a hard) shove to get me going, you know? I think I just keep thinking about next week when I go to Dublin and then I think about what we'll be doing and what I should take with me :/ oops.

Another side to this rant is Lookbook. I'm a newbie. Although I have something like 14 looks now but only have 5 fans :/ I guess what makes it harder is that my friend has lookbook too and she has soo many fans and hypes, it kinda gets me down :/ I know it's not about getting hypes and fans and it's about expressing your style, but you can't help but feel like giving up when you see loads of people have viewed your look and not hyped it :/ lol Maybe I just have a terrible style? I don't know. I do feel like giving up though.. Like with my blog too. Oh dear, maybe I'm just not made for blogs and outfit posts etc haha.

Apart from my little rant I am ok, just one of those days.

Make it Mine Monday: Asos

I am definitely going for the festival look right now! Especially seeing as the weather has been so lovely recently, it just makes me want to buy summer clothes and new sandals and flip flops! Here's what is on my list this Monday from Asos:

I absolutely love this top! It just makes me think of when I saw Florence and the Machine last year at the Isle of Wight festival! If only I had this top back then, it would have been perfect to wear while watching them in the sunshine :)

I really love this skirt for some reason. I've been eyeing it up for months! It's so simple so I'm considering making my own version, if I can find the right fabric.

I have yet to buy some leather shorts and I this pair are gorgeous! There was another photo on the website with a tie around the middle which really added detail. I think these shorts would go with pretty much anything!

I have a thing about rings recently. All different colours, sizes, textures, themes, you name it! I've even made a couple of my own (I'll post them soon). However I do not have an orange ring yet...could this be added to my collection?

Looks like I'm going with a brown theme today. This cute little bag is gorgeous, don't you think? Great for the festival season! I love the little design detail in the middle and the plait edges, it really gives the bag character.

Anyone else in desperate need to go shopping lately? The thing is, you always feel like that when you have no money... :/

Just a little outfit post today. I love wearing this because I think it's a really sweet look. Of course Lookbook wouldn't let me upload this image because it was too skinny so I had to take the time to get the sizing right (you can probably see it on the right hand side), so I thought I'd upload this image on here because I think having one photo underneath the other really works :) Hope you like it!

They have some wonderful things on there, and these images I just fell in love with!
