102. Better the devil you know

Jacket:  Urban Outfitters
Necklace:  Accessorize
Shorts:  New Look
Boots:  New Look

So this is the outfit I was talking about in this post that I wanted to photograph last week but the weather was horrible, so I decided to wear it today. I've paired my velvet jacket with my teal shorts and a plain black top to keep it simple and then added a chunky ring necklace to finish with the usual black tights and boots too. I really love this jacket but don't have many outfits I could wear it with so I'm thinking of making a dress or a patterned skirt to go with it (not the same pattern but one to compliment the jacket), but we'll see!

Hope you lovelies have all had a good start to the week! My giveaway will be up in a few hours too!

Make it Mine Monday

Hello, hello! A 'Make it Mine' is on the agenda today as I have seen so many lovely clothes, shoes, jewellery etc, so here is just a little snippet of things that I am loving right now!

This is just the cutest dress on Asos right now and it really reminds me of Red Valentino Fall 2012 collection, as seen here. I am very, very tempted to buy it and pair it with a pair of black or white lace knee high socks, or maybe wear a white shirt/blouse underneath the dress for a femenine, girly, vintage look.

A bit different, but I really like the print and style on this dress. The print is just so striking and would look great in the summer and I love the detailing on the back to make it different and more interesting.

Urban Outfitters:

Oh my goodness! You would not believe how long I have been looking for the perfect large peace sign necklace on a long chain, and now I have finally found it!! I saw this in the Urban Outfitters store the other day when I popped into town and just fell in love! I nearly bought it but then remembered the discount I can get online for my first order ;)

I have had my eye on these beautifully bright shoes for so long now but have been putting off buying them as there is limited clothing they could go with. They do them in black aswell but I just love the orange too much, and I love the pantha on the heel too.

I supose if I bought this gorgeous blazer it would match the shoes, right? Haha! I really love the colour orange, incase you hadn't noticed, but like I said before there isn't alot you can wear this colour orange with. And I have to admit, I did buy a pastel pink blazer very similar to this style from Primark the other day for £21.00, so maybe I'll leave this for now.. But got this colour is just so nice!

Have you seen anything you would love to buy recently?

101. Up then down

Hat:  New Look
Blazer:  H&M
Blouse:  New Look (Kids)
Skirt:  New Look
Boots:  New Look

Hey all! This is what I wore to work today and luckily it was still light when I got home so I was able to take some outfit photos. I've gone for stripe on stripe today with the top and blazer with a basic, grey maxi skirt and bowler hat. I wasn't sure if the 'stripe on stripe' look would work but I actually quite like it. I am also wearing my fake fringe! Ha!

Hope you've all had a good weekend! Did you get up to much?

RED Valentino Fall 2012 Collection

Is it just me, or is this collection utterly, beautifully, sweet?! I came across it yesterday on and literally fell in love! I just love the cute little style with the almost knee-high socks and the puffy short skirts with the adorable peter-pan collars; even the facial expressions just complete the look! It's safe to say, I'm sold! As they said on the website 'The dreamy, playful, and youthful collection is very modern and contemporary, and speaks for itself.' Oh so very true! Here are just a few of my favourties:

Check out the full collection here. What do you think? Are you loving the girlish, femenine feel as much as me?

#1 What I've been up to

So this is a little photo montage I made of photo's I have taken throughout the week. The first two images are of this months reads in magazines - LOVE, VOGUE & ELLE, and the second set of magazines in the bottom right hand corner are my new stack which will slowly build up over the year I'm sure. I sorted out my 'studio room' on Monday which also has a rail of my clothes in and I moved it into the little cubby whole part of the room so thats the photo in the bottom left hand corner. The two largest images in the middle of magazines are from the library as I spend part of the day there on Tuesday and the rest of the images are from London yesterday - my ticket, Red Bull to wake me up and my new gold necklace from Forever 21.

So this was basically my week in photos and I think I will do this every now and then when I have interesting things going on to add as a new feature :) Hope you like it!

100. It isn't big to make others feel small

Blazer:  Charity Shop
Dress:  Urban Outfitters
Necklace:  Forever 21
Boots:  New Look

Hey lovelies! Sorry for the lack of outfit posts lately I've just had so much to blog about! This is what I wore to uni today. I've only worn this amazing charity find blazer once or twice since I bought it so I wanted to show it off again! I've paired it with my vintage dress from Urban Outfitters with a black and gold belt nipped in at the waist and black tights and black boots to finish. I'm also wearing my new gold chain necklace which I bought from Forever 21 yesterday while I was in London. It's the first time I've been to Forever 21 and I absolutely love it!! Will have to take another trip soon!

Hope you've all had a lovely week! I will post my 'what I've been up to photos' tonight!

New Creative Website - OurMyYour

Hello lovelies! I just wanted to tell you some exciting news which I have been keeping a secret for a while now. I recently found a new creative, up and coming website called OurMyYour. I have been fortunate enough to be chosen to be one of those writters which is really exciting!! I will mainly be writing about Fashion but may be able to add other things in as well depending on what it is.

OMY will be lauching their website later this year in July and we would love some more support from you guys as I know that you will love it once the website is up and running. Just visit and 'like' their Facebook page or follow them on Twitter or even check out the Website now for more information.

I will be blogging about OMY regularly to keep you posted and also linking to the website once it is up and running on things that may interest you. Help spread the word!
