202. It's a funny sort of day

Hey there beauties!

 

Today I went for a little shopping spree with my Mum and my Nan and Grandad. We popped to B&M as we had never been before and I had seen the perfect bedside tables for my new room (more news on that soon!), so we thought we would explore! It is absolutely amazing in there, like The Range but cheaper! And I do love The Range. If you haven't been or heard of it already then check out the website here. The only downside is that you cannot order online which is a little annoying, so use the search bar to see if there is a store near you :)

 

Anyway, I was feeling rather casual but classic today and this is what I came up with. I usually always tuck in shirts or blouses into my bottoms as I think I look bigger than I am if I leave them hanging out (which is not good mixed with my short 5 foot height!), but I felt it kind of worked today. I have had these jeans for absolute jeans! Since I started working at New Look, which is over 5 years ago, so they are extremely old but I still love them! I thought I would add a little detail with my gold collar clips that I made using a pair of vintage earrings and a gold chain to attach. I still have plenty of earring left over so I will be selling them very soon on my Etsy store :) Lastly I finished with my white pointed shoes which have a low heel to give my outfit a classic, sophisticated look, and of course my vintage coat which I can not stop wearing!!

 

I don't know about you guys and where you live but the weather is really horrible at the moment! It's so muggy at hot, it's a job to know weather to even bother with a coat or not! I jolly hope the sun makes an appearance soon, I'm getting fed up of not knowing what to wear! ;)

Introducing: 'Ever Ours'

Good morning lovelies! I just wanted to share with you a lovely little fashion website which I am sure most of you have heard of already but something which I only recently came across. I stubled upon Ever Ours whilst on Twitter and thought I would check out their website as the caption on their Twitter page made me curious (I love anything with 'vintage' in the title).

 

When I got onto the website I was amazed at how beautiful the clothing was and then astonished at how amazing the prices were! Ever Ours have wonderfully designed clothing, from dresses to tops to jumpers, and they even sell some gorgeous accessories too! And the best part is, everything is at such a reasonable price!

 

I am deeply in love with this website and cannot wait until payday so I can buy a few pretty little pieces to fit perfectly within my wardrobe. Here are just a few piece which I have fallen in love with!

Hellooo! How have you lovelies all been? This is my 'pretty in pink' outfit for today. I'm feeling quite cheery, hence the colourful outfit showing different shades of pink. Hello lovelies! How is your bank holiday weekend going? This is what I'm wearing today as the weather is rather gloomy outside. I tell you what, I am getting pretty fed up with this weather! I wish it would just make it's mind up already! Rant over. Ha.

 

Anyway, today I am wearing my almighty comfy disco pants from River Island paired with my orange Topshop crop top for a pop of colour. I am also wearing my velvet blazer which I found in a charity shop in Farnham. I thought I had lost it for ages but luckily I found it this morning and I am so glad as I love it! Lastly I am wearing these cute lace-up wedge shoes from New Look to finish the look. What do you think? I don't usually wear outfits with my tummy out but I thought I would today :) Hope you like it!

 



Free Shoes?

Hello everyone! Today is just a short post to tell you all about Nelly Shoes. Nelly are a well known company that hold events in night clubs across the country. They offer the first 150 people into the night club a free pair of shoes! A little while ago now, Nelly Shoes held an event at one of my favourite night clubs, 90 Degrees' in Southampton. I only heard about the event as one of my friends works in the club so I went along with a couple of my friends to find out if it was too good to be true.

As we walked in there were shoes on top of podiums protected by glass and we were each given a card and a pen to write down our three favourite pairs of shoes. We were then guided to a seating area where we were able to use their laptops to log in our details about each pair of shoes we had chosen, our email address and our home address to where the shoes would be delivered.

Whilst at the event we also recieved a goody bag including £20 off at www.onepiece.co.uk, a thong (a bit random!), Maybelline gel eyeliner and brush, and a free cocktail. The night over all was really fun and exciting and they even held a competition as to who could design the best shoes!

The event was about a month or two ago now and I have just recieved my shoes. Everyone who I have spoken to all recieved their third choice of shoes, but they are all lovely anyway so you cannot complain! Here are the shoes I was sent, these are called 'Fabulous'.

Nelly.com sell all sorts of beautiful shoes from flats to heels and they even sell designer shoes so it is definitely worth checking them out and they also sell clothes! The shoes which I recieved usually cost £51.95.

157. Life is sweet

Hey lovelies! I didn't actually put any make up on or decent clothes today until about 4 o'clock when I got a text from my boyfriend saying he was on a break so I could see him Ha! As soon as he text I was straight upstairs getting ready and wacked this outfit together, and I actually really like it! After looking at Alexa Chung and Jameela Jamil's outfits it got me thinking that I should experiment more with the clothes I already have in my wardrobe - and this is what I came up with! Do you like it?

Normally when trying out new outfits I get scared and a bit self-consience about whether people think I look stupid, but wearing this I actually felt really confident and grown up - almost like a business woman on a casual day! Haha!

150. Always be true to yourself

Hello lovelies! This is what I wore to work today, sort of going for a 50's theme with the head scarf. I am also wearing jeans which all my work friends were shocked about! Haha! I'm really enjoying wearing jeans more often to be honest, I just find it kind of hard to style them sometimes, but I'm really liking this look. Plus my hair is up which makes a change! I used to always wear it up and now it's always down so I'm trying to stop that! Haha! The shoes I bought today after work, along with two other pairs which you can see below (woops!). But I figured, I am doing to sell a couple of shoes which have hardly been work and one pair I paid with using a gift voucher so it's technically not my money...just trying to make myself feel better really!

Hello! Not in the best of moods tonight if I'm honest so I'll keep it short and sweet. I had a really nice day with my Dad, as he had the day off work, and now I just want to curl up, go to bed and forget the world. Ever get like that? Anyway, this is what I wore today. It's quite a basic look but also really girly and comfy. I hope you guys like it and hopefully I'll be in a better mood tomorrow! :)

Hello lovelies! This is what I wore today, my lovely new dress from Urban Outfitters and my new bag from New Look. So I guess because I showed you my jacket yesterday and these items today I don't really need to do a 'what I bought' post! Haha! Today the sun was shinning so I fully got my legs, out which was nice, but it's supposed to come down with rain again tomorrow unfortunately so I was making the most of it!

I went out for lunch (again) with two old friends which was really nice. I've been having so many catch up's with people lately now that I have finished uni, it's crazy!

Hello beauties! How are you all today? I'm still having to wear clothes with no tights or socks due to my tattoo, which by the way kept me up all night because it is so itchy where it is healing, so I put on this maxi skirt and top and chucked my hair up, but quite like the casual, laid back look. What do you think? (And I'm not going to lie, I love that you can see my tattoo throught the slit in my skirt!)

I popped into town for a catch up with two of my lovely friends today, which was so lovely as I haven't seen them in so long! We also did a cheeky bit of shopping which is when I bought this jacket from New Look. I saw it in the baby pink colour at first and really liked the style but not the colour, but then low and behold I saw it in black and just had to get it! It is really light weight and casual so will go with everything. It's a bit like having that favourite blazer or cardigan that you wear with everything, I can tell I'm going to be wearing it a lot!! I also bought a really sweet little woven bag from New Look and a vintage floral dress from Urban Outfitters which I am in love with! (Sorry Leigh :P ) I'll show you the goodies I bought tomorrow and some wants that I have my eye on! :)
