200. It feels strange to be back.

Hello, hello!

I feel it's pretty ironic that my first 'ootd' since I have been away is number 200...Haha! A nice round number to come back on I think :) So here is my first outfit of the day post in a while, as promised. I have to say it was pretty tricky taking the photo's today as I have been gone for so long I literally felt like I didn't know how to do it anymore. That's kind of scary for me, because as I said yesterday I would hate this to be like I am starting from the beginning again and learning everything all over again seeing as I've worked so hard to get to this point. Ah well, whatever will be will be I guess!

Anyway, today is the first day in a long time where I have actually been happy with my outfit and how I look, the first day I have actually made an effort in a very long time! I love this paisley print skirt from Urban Outfitters as you don't need anything to fussy to style it up so I've just gone for a simple black t-shirt and gold chain necklace. I thought I would add the pop socks for fun too.

Ah, enough ramblings from me! Time to sort out my new bedroom! (More news on this very soon!!) Have a lovely evening all!

185. It's worth fighting for.

Evening all!

Sorry for the late post, my internet has been playing up over the last few days but I finally managed to upload a post! I went charity shopping in Farnham yesterday with my boyfriend and bought this lovely blouse with the gorgeous embroidered collar. Now, anyone who knows me, especially you Paige, will know that I have many, many blouses in all different colours and collar styles and I said I wouldn't buy any more, but this one just stole my heart (Ha!) and for a large it's actually not too oversized and baggy which I love. Plus I figured I could wear it underneath jumpers and dresses as it's quite thin so it's easy to layer. So that is what I did today and layered it with my floral dress from Urban Outfitters alongside my trusty chelsea boots.

As you may know from my last post I haven't had the best of weeks, however seeing my boyfriend yesterday really cheered me up and made me relax and de-stress - plus the retail therapy which always helps! I also saw my lovely friend, Charlie, who helped me out a huge amount with my uni work and just generally getting me excited and motivated about my work. I don't know what it is about her but she just has a way of inspiring you and pulls out all of these fantastic ideas! She has recently started working at a place called Grand Cafe in Southampton, where I live, and it is gorgeous inside! We have made a few plans to benefit both of us which I will share with you tomorrow along with some images of the gorgeous interior so look out for that!

I hope you've all had a lovely day!

Weekend Wants #1

Ahh there is so much I want to buy right now, and I've already spent loads! Does anyone else get the constant need to spend their money? It can't just be me that gets this niggling feeling, can it?

Anyway, I went to Brighton yesterday, as you all know, and I popped into Urban Outfitters for a browse and Oh My I want it all! From socks to blouses to dresses, ahh it is all just so beautiful!! So here are a few things I have pulled out to show you which are currently filling up my shopping basket on the UO website.

I am in love with this dress!! I just love everything about it, however unfortunately it's £85.00 - way out of my budget for a dress.
Find it here.

I'm in love with this gorgeous cut out playsuit! The colour, the print, the shape! Everything about it is just so pretty!
Find it here.

I saw this cardigan yesterday in Brighton and it is so pretty in person with the different coloured knit inbetween the grey and black. I don't think this image does it justice, it is really beautiful in person :)
Find it here.

I've wanted a top like this for ages! And for £16 it's not too bad, although I really want a white one which they don't seem to do. Does anyone know where I can get a white one?
Find it here.

Ohh don't you just love these sandals?! I really, really want these! Haha!
Find them here.

Damn these being £95.00 :(
Find them here.

There is so much more I want too but I won't bore you! What do you think?

140. Tell me sweet little lies.

Dress: Urban Outfitters
Bag:  New Look
Shoes:  Primark

Hello lovelies! This is what I wore today, my lovely new dress from Urban Outfitters and my new bag from New Look. So I guess because I showed you my jacket yesterday and these items today I don't really need to do a 'what I bought' post! Haha! Today the sun was shinning so I fully got my legs, out which was nice, but it's supposed to come down with rain again tomorrow unfortunately so I was making the most of it!

I went out for lunch (again) with two old friends which was really nice. I've been having so many catch up's with people lately now that I have finished uni, it's crazy!

I have put up some new items on my Etsy account so please take a look and purchase something!! Haha! Also don't forget about my blog giveaway! You can enter here.

139. Have faith.

Jacket:  New Look
Top:  Max C London
Maxi Skirt:  New Look
Shoes:  Primark

Hello beauties! How are you all today? I'm still having to wear clothes with no tights or socks due to my tattoo, which by the way kept me up all night because it is so itchy where it is healing, so I put on this maxi skirt and top and chucked my hair up, but quite like the casual, laid back look. What do you think? (And I'm not going to lie, I love that you can see my tattoo throught the slit in my skirt!)

I popped into town for a catch up with two of my lovely friends today, which was so lovely as I haven't seen them in so long! We also did a cheeky bit of shopping which is when I bought this jacket from New Look. I saw it in the baby pink colour at first and really liked the style but not the colour, but then low and behold I saw it in black and just had to get it! It is really light weight and casual so will go with everything. It's a bit like having that favourite blazer or cardigan that you wear with everything, I can tell I'm going to be wearing it a lot!! I also bought a really sweet little woven bag from New Look and a vintage floral dress from Urban Outfitters which I am in love with! (Sorry Leigh :P ) I'll show you the goodies I bought tomorrow and some wants that I have my eye on! :)

Don't forget to enter the giveaway below for your chance to win a handmade skirt and collar, both made by me, and spread the word too!

133. Electric Dreams

Top:  New Look
Necklace:  Urban Outfitters
Skirt:  New Look
Bag:  New Look
Shoes:  New Look

Hello lovelies! I will warn you now, there will be another outfit post later on tonight of today's outfit to catch up with the back log from the weekend! This is what I wore to work on Sunday, hence almost everything being from New Look. I went for a really simple, laid back outfit but I really like the casual look. Plus I bought this backpack from New Look on Saturday and wanted to wear it and thought it would look best with a more casual look. What do you think? I wore my hair in a topknot aswell to keep it out of the way, and it's nice to wear it up once in a while :)

I have had such an unexpected/busy weekend! My brother went into hospital on Thursday night and had to have a little opporation which was kind of scary, but he's all ok so it's fine :) Then my Dad went away to Paris from Friday to Sunday, I had work 9-6 Saturday, 2 parties to attend Saturday night, worked 11-5 on Sunday and then had to pick my Dad up from the airport on Sunday night! Then I slept for 13 hours because I was just so tired! Haha! It feels like I haven't even had time to think! So now I am looking forward to (hopefully) a relaxing week spending time with friends and my boyfriend :)

Hope you've all had a lovely bank holiday weekend! Mine was not how I planned at all! But all's well that end's well :)

121. Look to the future

Jacket:  Urban Outfitters
Top:  New Look
Trousers:  New Look
Shoes:  Primark

Hello lovelies! Just a quick post this evening as I am about to have a BBQ to make the most of the sunshine! So here is my second outfit of today. This is what I am actually wearing today, although now the sun has come out and I'm in trousers! Haha! But I haven't worn these trousers in so long so I thought I'd have a change of look today and go for something a little different. What do you think? I am always wearing the same old tights and shorts or skirts so I really want to try and pull out of that and start wearing trousers and dresses more often, and also by changing my shoes more! I recently fixed the buckle on these shoes and I absolutely love them so prepare to see alot more of them! Plus I bought these flatform sandals from New Look the other day and they are so comfortable!

Anyway, I'm off to stuff my face and imagine that it's summer! Hope you've all had a good day :)

114. It's times like these

Flower:  New Look
Top:  DIY/Self Made
Belt:  Vintage
Skirt:  Borrowed from Paige Calvert
Shoes:  Primark
Rings:  River Island, Aldo, Urban Outfitters

Evening all! This was one of the looks from yesterdays shoot with Paige. In this outfit I have borrowed her mint green skirt, which I love! If you're wondering where it's from then visit her blog here and you can contact her :)

I quite like this outfit as it's quite feminine and spring-like, plus I am really into mint green garments at the moment (although I don't own any in this colour as of yet!). The lace top I made two years ago and managed to dig it out of my wardrobe for this outfit.

Hope you've all had a good Thursday!
