197. That Spring smile...

Blouse:  Charity Shop
Collar Clips/Clip-on earrings:  Charity Shop
Necklace:  Gift
Belt:  Vintage
Skirt:  Vintage Shop in Paris

Evening lovelies,

Here is today's look, rather fresh and Spring-like I feel :) I put this outfit together on a whim this morning and have actually fallen in love with it as it's so light and fresh and makes me dream of Spring (which should infact be here by now!!). I added the collar clips (clip-on earrings) on the tips of the collar on the blouse for detail as it matched one of the blue/green shades in the skirt. I often buy clip-on earrings from charity shops and use them as collar clips for a touch of detail. I have also sold a few which are attached by a chain and hopefully I will be putting more up for sale soon if anyone is interested?

I also love this sewing machine necklace which my Mum bought me for Christmas last year. It is so relevant to my life and my passion and I dream of owning a real vintage Singer sewing machine one day!

Anyway, I hope you guys like my outfit for today. I have a slightly different post planned for tomorrow so stay tuned for that :)

181. Let's go back to the start

Collar Clips:  DIY/Self Made
Top:  Ralph Lauren
Shorts:  Paris
Boots:  New Look

Hello! This is just a short post today as I am mega busy with uni work and looming deadlines! I did manage to shoot my outfit for you guys though. It's pretty basic but nice with the collar clip deatil which I made myself. I will be selling more like this very, very soon so watch this space!

Also, I have created a little side blog which you can find here. It's still very bare at the moment but I have a lot of ideas so please check it out and follow to stay posted. Also, please let me know what you think, any ideas you may have of which direction I could take, I would love that! It's sort of a mini project/challenge for myself so we'll see how it goes. In saying that this blog is still very much up and running so don't fret! :)

177. Paisley

Blouse:  New Look
Collar Clips:  DIY Self Made
Shorts:  Vintage / Paris
Boots:  New Look

Evening all! This is what I am wearing today. I bought this lovely paisley print blouse from New Look yesterday, I couldn't resist! I seem to have a thing about blouses and just can't help but by them! But you can never have too many blouses, right? ;) I thought I'd add detail again with my DIY collar clips (will be seeling these soon on ebay) and I decided to pair the blouse with these beige coloured shorts which I bought in a vintage shop in Paris for 1 Euro! It's always nice wearing light colours on a dull, cold today like today, don't you think? :)

173. It's such a perfect day.

Hat:  Ebay
Blouse:  New Look
Skirt:  Vintage  /  Paris

Hello lovelies! Today I am wearing my lovely vintage tartan skirt which I bought in Paris. I absolutely love the colour and the tartan print. I haven't got anything red in my wardrobe so I was really looking for something that would go with everything else in my wardrobe and this just seemed right to buy! I had to take it in a bit but I love how it fits and the length too.

If you haven't already seen there is a competition in my blog post below to win a pair of classic Christian Louboutin's! So go and enter to be in with a chance of winning :)

171. Simple Simon

Blouse:  Vintage  /  Paris
Jumper:  H&M (similar)
Jeans:  New Look (similar)
Shoes:  New Look (similar)

Good evening bloggers! This is today's rather simple, boyish, slouchy outfit. Today I have just been working on my summer project for when I go back to uni on the 1st, and also doing some house work, so I stuck to a really simple, but still feminine, outfit. I wasn't wearing any make-up, hence the 'I'm-not-looking-at-the-camera' shots, and I just shoved my hair in a clip keeping it messy and classic looking. I wanted to keep the look feminine as I felt quite boyish in just jeans and a jumper so I added the blouse underneath the jumper just showing the lace detail on the collar, and went for a small heel to finish the look. What do you think? It's not something I would usually wear or even photograph if I did wear it on a lazy day, but I thought I would today.

On another note, I kindly got sent two pairs of Avet Shape underwear from avetsetunderwear.com for me to review, one pair nude and one black. I am planning to wear them to work tomorrow and then in the evening when I go out for my friend's birthday so that I can give a full review on how they feel during a full day at work and on a night out. I will give my honest opinion on the underwear and will probably post my review on Sunday or Monday, so keep a look out for that! I am actually really looking forward to trying these out!

169. Confusion never stops.

Blouse:  Romwe
Necklace:  Forever 21
Shorts:  Vintage / Paris
Boots:  New Look

Hello lovelies! Here is today's outfit. I am wearing my new vintage shorts which I bought from Paris now that they have been taken up and in and I decided to wear my blue blouse from Romwe to bring out the blue in the shorts more. I was undecided on whether to wear a blue or green top so maybe next time I'll wear the green :)

I must apologise for my serious lack of posting lately! My third and final year of university is fast approaching so I am busy trying to clear out my study and my room so that I am prepared and have a clear mind for when I start. I think I have finally finished clearing up so now I just need to get on with my summer project and also get back to blogging before I start uni on the 1st, because after that it will be all go at uni! I will warn you, my posts may be a bit sparse when I start back at uni because obviously it will be my third and finally year, as I'm sure some of you will have experienced! But I will try and update you all on whats going on and what I am wearing. I'm not saying I'll never post, because I'm sure procrastination will hit every now and then, but just to give you guys a heads up incase you think I have stopped blogging.

Anyway, I hope you've all had a good weekend!

167. Wake up in someone else's dream

Blouse:  Charity Shop
Shorts:  Vintage / Paris
Shoes:  Primark

Hello you lovely lot! This is today's outfit. It seems forever since I posted an outfit so I am so glad to be doing it again. These shorts are a pair which I bought whilst in Paris, seen in the post below, and I got them for a meare 1 Euro!! They almost fitted perfectly but I took them in slightly on each side for the perfect fit. I thought I would pair them with this beautiful floral blouse with the lace collar which I bought from a charity shop last week. It is a size 14 but I like it kind of baggy, plus I would wear it un-done aswell for a more casual look. Hope you like it!

Vintage shopping in Paris

Helloo!! As you all know I went to Paris on Thursday with my lovely friend Charlotte. We have been meaning to go there for about two years now and finally decided to go and hit all the vintage shops we could find, and I turns out we found a lot more than we thought we would!

I went to Paris two years ago with my uni and we were allowed to venture out and do what we want and me and my friends found two completely amazing vintage shops which I told Charlotte about when I got back. We decided we would go and I'd show her these amazing shops, although I have to say I was a bit worried that they wouldn't be there anymore considering it was two years ago! However, as we were strolling around the streets looking for the right street name we finally found them both and they have not changed one single bit!! I was so, so happy and the shops did not fail us! We bought so much, as I am about to show you, because they just have so many amazing vintage clothes! We also found loads of vintage shops along the way too, but these particular two were the best.

Anyway, enough of my rambling and reminiscing of Paris (yes, I have got the Paris blues already!!), here is what I bought, and I apologise now for the horrible image quality!

Pretty pink cardigan with lovely silver buttons.
10 Euros.

 Levi's shorts which fit perfectly!
10 Euros.

Some of you may think this is horrible, but I just love the print so I am going to completely re-work this dress as the low waist is really unflattering and it is too big for me anyway.
10 Euros.

I really love the material and print here but I'm not sure whether to keep this as a maxi skirt or take it up or even make it into shorts. What do you lovelies think?
A bargain 5 Euros!

Love this scarf and for 1 Euro it was a must have!

This looks a bit funny layed out but when it is on it looks like a little 1950's cape.
1 Euro!

These are mens shorts I think but I'm going to take them in and up and hopefully they will look ok.
1 Euro.

Pretty blue's skirt which I will be taking up and in.
1 Euro.

I am in love with this blue print and lace collar blouse and for 1 Euro I had to buy it!

These shorts almost fit perfectly but I've had to take them in half an inch each side. I'm wearing them today so keep a look out for my outfit post later on tonight :)
1 Euro.

Loving the tartan pattern lately and needed a bit of red in my wardrobe so this skirt was perfect! It needs taking it quite a bit but I think I'll keep the length for more of a pencil skirt look.
5 Euros.

Mine and Charlottes first day of vintage shopping! Haha!

This was the best vintage shop which I first experienced two years ago called 'Free 'P' Star'. If you ever go to Paris you have to visit and if you need the address just email me :)
