152. I rock a lot of polka dots

Hello, hello! This is what I wore to work today, hence everything bar the scarf being from New Look! Today was another gorgeous sunny day and I managed to sunbathe for a couple of hours after work to top up the tan, however I've heard we have a storm coming in tomorrow - typical British weather - but I'm really hoping we don't, we deserve sun from now on!! I also want to shoot and post one of my new features tomorrow so I'm hoping it won't be raining :/

Anyway, on to the outfit! I am wearing another simple, summery outfit today as it is SO hot outside, even as I type it's still really hot and it's evening now, I love it! I decided to wear my navy polka dot shorts today and pick out the white from the spots to work the rest of the outfit. I also added in a plaited brown belt to divide the outfit a little and paired the shorts with the scarf on my bag. It's quite co-ordinated I have to say! Haha. What do you think of it? Do you like the co-ordinated look?

I hope you're all making the most of the sunshine (if you have any!) because I'm sure it won't stick around :( Although, if the weather would like to prove me wrong then please, feel free ;)

136. One day..

Hello! This is what I wore today, and yet again I managed to get some photos before the horrible rain came down! I made this skirt for myself last year but have only worn it once so it was good to dig it out and wear it again! The material is actually from an old pair of curtains I think! Haha! But I really like it and still have loads left so I may make something else from it too :)

Today I went to Winchester for lunch and a catch up with my lovely friend, Victoria (you can find her blog here). We went to the Tea Rooms for lunch and then popped to our favourite vintage shop Charming Magpies. I really love everything in there and the lady who works there is so lovely and always recognises me which is nice :) Unfortunately I didn't buy anything today but I am going back in a couple of weeks for a rumage again! They have a £5 rail at the moment which is a complete bargain for anything vintage! I almost bought a dress to turn into a skirt but I just wasn't sure about the bright colours. Oh and I almost bought a really garish but amazing jacket/blouse but I knew I had nothing to pair it with. Maybe if they're still there in a couple of weeks then it's meant to be ;) Anyway, check out their Facebook page here.

Helloo!! Second post of today, as I mentioned I would do below. This is what I wore Saturday night to my friends house party for her birthday. I look drunk/tired in these photos but I promice I wasn't! The light was shinning right in my eyes. I had no idea what to wear so I just sort of threw this together, which seems to be what I am doing with all of my looks this week! I think the outfit inspiration post has really helped me to wear different outfits without buying new clothes! Hey lovelies! This is what I wore to work on Saturday. I wanted to wear my tropical trousers, seen in this post, but I need to take them in a little so I just wore this dress instead. It's starting to cool down where I live now but it wasn't cold enough to wear tights so I went with the pop socks and brogues instead. Hope you like it!

130. Bring me sunshine on a cloudy day

Happy Friday! How is everyone today? Is everyone looking forward to the Jubilee? I really wanted to wear this jumper that my lovely friend, and fellow blogger, Paige gave me so I laid it out on my bed and started putting an outfit together, and this is what I came up with. If I hadn't laid the clothes on my bed first I don't think I would have ever thought about pairing these burgundy shorts with the baby blue jumper but I think it actually works quite well. I added a bit of detail and texture with the brown plaited belt and then though I would accessorize using brown shades to tie it all in.

I have been taking pictures of outfits, like in this post, and have found that it really helps! These images will be uploaded next week so you can see what outfits I came up with.

Hello lovelies! Yes, my legs are out as the sun was shinning and it felt like summer! (although be it a bit cold), but hey ho, I'm in a good mood, and I think this outfit shows that! I've gone for lilac colours today, which I don't often do, but I really wanted to wear this floral top from Max C - London as I only got it in December from the NEC Birmingham clothes show, so of course I haven't been able to wear it yet! I wasn't sure whether all lilac would look ok, but I quite like it. I've added in the blue belt to add a different colour and my green bow, just because! Haha! Finishing off I'm wearing these sweet little shoes from River Island a couple of years ago.

Hello all! Not sure if anyone saw my post below but I was having trouble uploading photo's for a couple of days but it's back working again so here is my outfit post from yesterday. I got this new hat at the weekend for £4 in New Look! Complete Bargain. I've also won a proper bowler hat on ebay so that should be here some when soon, very excited! This one is a bit more of a 'pie hat', as my Dad likes to call it, and is slightly grey with a ribbon around it so I am quite pleased because the bowler hat from ebay is black and a proper bowler hat so now I'll have the best of both worlds! I'm wearing my Ralph Lauren shirt today, which I found in a vintage shop in Paris in Feburary last year (I cannot tell you how much I wan't to go back!!), tucked into my grey DIY shorts with a red plait belt, plain black tights and black ankle boots.

I've decided I wear these shorts way too often, mainly because they go with everything, but I recently found some of Dad's old trousers which are black so I'm thinking of turning them into some more shorts like I did these ones. That means another DIY post to go on the list! I promice I will do all of these DIY posts as soon as I've handed in my work next Friday.

I also recieved my clip-in fringe in the post on Tuesday. It is unfortunately slightly darker than my hair in certain lights so it's not something I will wear too often, but to be honest I haven't tried it with my hair straight yet so I may do that tomorrow and it may look better. But what do you think? I fooled everyone on my facebook into thinking it was a real fringe for a while and everyone loved it!

Afternoon bloggers! I've gone for pinks and greys in my look today, feeling quite girly. I've paired my baby pink jumper with my formal grey shorts and plain black tights and accessorized with a baby pink floral necklace and red vintage belt. I chose my plum coloured ankle boots to finish off the look and keep it girly.

Oh my, well I have one week left at uni and I still have so much work to do, and yet here I am on my laptop going through Facebook, Twitter, Pintrest, Polyvore etc, the usual websites, completely procrastinating from doing any work. Ergh, where has my motivation gone?! On the up side I'm still in a really good mood! Now, time to find my motivation and get working!
