A Day In London..

Hey lovelies! As I mentioned in yesterday's post I went to London for the day with my friend, and fellow blogger, Victoria. We first went to view the new Sugarhill Boutique Autumn/Winter 2012 collection which was so lovely. The people we met who work for Sugarhill Boutique were so friendly and welcomeing and offered us food and drink. There was a selction of the new collection on two rails, including dresses, jumpers, trousers, skirts and coats etc and I cannot tell you just how beautiful the collection is! Being well known for their unique prints they have to come up with new ones every season, but you won't be disappointed, they are truely stunning, as always! I won't give too much away but there are a lot of animal prints going on so keep a look out! We were also presented with a goodie bag including a lookbook of the new seasons range, a bracelet and a beautiful scarf.

After that we went to the Christian Louboutin exhibition in the Design Museum. Unfortunately we weren't allowed to take photos once we were in the exhibition so all of the images below are from Google, apart from the 2nd and 3rd images. It ends on the 8th of July I think so if you haven't already seen it then you must go! It's really interesting and he has made some weird and wonderful shoes in his time!

London & Instagram

Hello! Yesterday I took a shopping trip to London with my good friend Victoria (you can find her blog here - check it out!) and I took a few photos today of what I bought using Instagram. Now, I have a Samsung Galaxy S and I have been waiting forever for Instagram to come out on Android and it is finally here!! So if I blog a lot of Instagram photos over the next few days then I appologise now! My Instagram username is kirsti24 and you can follow me on followgram here. Quick question for Instagram users, can I view my photos on the website rather than just one photo at a time? I can't seem to do it at the moment :/

Hello fellow bloggers! Today I recieved my tripod in the post, hence the change of scene in my photos, so I have been here there and everywhere taking photos of my outfit today. I chose to keep this scene for my photos today because I have always wanted to do a shoot here but without a tripod it was very hard. This room isn't very big so the camera is quite close to me, but using a tripod really helped and I am really happy with the outcome. What do you think? I know it's not a standing pose but I quite like that and I like the fact that I am in a little cubby-hole taking the photos.

Anyway, about the outfit. I went shopping in London with my friend Victoria yesterday (post of what I bought will shortly follow) and I bought two of these tops that I am wearing, except the other one is green. They are both from Topshop for £8 each which I think is pretty good, plus with student discount on top aswell! From what I saw they do them in pink, green, beige and leopard print however they may have more on the website. I paired this top with a skirt I made a while ago because the pinks tie in with each other, and I also tied in the colour theme with my white and pink floral headband and finishing with white socks. No doubt I will change into tights later as the weather will probably turn horrible, but I thought I'd make the most of the little sunshine we have here at the moment!

Wow, enough of me rambling! Hope you all have a lovely Wednesday!

#1 What I've been up to

So this is a little photo montage I made of photo's I have taken throughout the week. The first two images are of this months reads in magazines - LOVE, VOGUE & ELLE, and the second set of magazines in the bottom right hand corner are my new stack which will slowly build up over the year I'm sure. I sorted out my 'studio room' on Monday which also has a rail of my clothes in and I moved it into the little cubby whole part of the room so thats the photo in the bottom left hand corner. The two largest images in the middle of magazines are from the library as I spend part of the day there on Tuesday and the rest of the images are from London yesterday - my ticket, Red Bull to wake me up and my new gold necklace from Forever 21.

So this was basically my week in photos and I think I will do this every now and then when I have interesting things going on to add as a new feature :) Hope you like it!
