39. Save it for a rainy day

Top:  New Look
Shorts:  H&M
Shoes:  Primark
Headband:  Hand made

I've wanted to show off my Primark shoes for a while now in an outfit post but never got round to doing it. I wore them with cream pop socks and a similar outfit to this last weekend when I went out with friends but I was in too much of a hurry to take a photo, so where I am not doing anything today I thought I'd finally show them off! The weather is so up and down lately that it's hard to know what to wear. If it's sunny in the morning it could well be raining in the afternoon, however if it's raining in the morning it could brighten up later on, which is what has happened today! I toyed with the idea of wearing tights or going bare legged but tights seemed apropriate for today's weather. Anyway, I'm wearing my most favourite shorts at the moment from H&M and an old cream blouse which I dug out from the bottom of my wardrobe (as I found it yesterday when putting more clothes away. My wardrobe is horrendous, there is no more room for anything. I'll post a pic one day) from New Look last year. I am wearing a basic top underneath as the blouse is quite see-through but I think it all works quite well together, especially tucked into the shorts. To finish off, like I said before, I am wearing plain black tights which go lovely with my new shoes. I love these so much! They are so sturdy, I really don't feel like I'm going to fall over which gives me more confidence, and it's always nice to wear heels every now and then.

Anyway, as for the headband, well. I woke up this morning at 3am from a horrible dream and I couldn't get back to sleep. I tried reading and playing games on my phone but for some reason I was just wide awake. I looked over to the flowers tucked into my radiator which have been sat there for years doing nothing and decided to make a headband from them, random I know but I've wanted to make a big floral headband for a little while now. So by this time it was 4:30am and there I am just sat on my bed making this headband trying to make as little noise as possible so that I don't wake anyone up, and here it is! aha! I really like it actually and it was so easy to make just twisting the stalks from the flowers together. I can't wait to make another! I thought I'd add it into my outfit post today because for some reason I think it actually works well with my outfit. The pink just adds a bit of colour to the neutral tones I had going on originally.

Wow, that is the longest post I've done in a while. Sorry for my ramblings! Hope everyone is having a lovely Thursday!
